47th Annual Northeastern Storm Conference

The NVU-Lyndon Chapter of the AMS & NWA formally invites you to attend the 47th Annual Northeastern Storm Conference (NESC). Paper and poster abstracts are now being accepted for the conference, which will be held Friday, March 11th – Sunday, March 13th, 2022 at the DoubleTree in Burlington, VT. Presentations will take place during the day Saturday and during the morning hours of Sunday.

The conference promotes diversity among its attendees as well as its presenters. In the past, research in the fields of severe weather (summer and winter), numerical modeling, global climate change, atmospheric chemistry, and social issues within the meteorology and atmospheric sciences community have all been shared at the conference. Presenters come from all sectors of the science, including the National Weather Service, private industry, broadcasting, universities, and research institutes, and range in experience from undergraduate students to meteorology professionals.
